I have to tip my hat to the wonderful staff at Tumi’s Avalon location - Lauren Elliott (Store Manager) joined by Richard. The airline had damaged the handle of my suitcase, and Lauren and Richard were so nice and helpful in replacing handle at the store while we waited for a couple of minutes. I have always enjoyed the customer service at this location, but today’s experience has made me a fan of the team at Avalon. Thank you Lauren and Richard!

Called ahead to make sure they had what I wanted in stock. Christine was quick and efficient with my questions and requests! She was sweet even when my toddler was running around. Store was clean, bright, and welcoming.

Also, love my Just In Case Backpack. Simple and light. Exactly what I wanted.

I had a great experience at this store when I took my tote to be repaired. Aalycia was efficient in seeing about the repair which I really appreciated. Both Aalycia and Steven were knowledgeable and super friendly!

TUMI lied to me when I purchased my suitcase. It was not as durable as I was told and I was told that if it needed repairs TUMI wouldn’t charge me or replace my suitcase for free. Although the staff at this location was friendly, I was promised lifetime repairs on my suitcase when I purchased it in the early 2000s and when I tried to bring it in for repairs they told me it would cost hundreds of dollars to fix. I explained that when I purchased it in the Bay Area I was promised a lifetime repairs or replacement and the store in Alpharetta said that this isn’t true and that repairs cost money. I was lied too and will never purchase a TUMI ever again! False advertising!

I love this store! The staff greets you warmly the moment you step foot inside, the products are displayed well and the store smells so good! The purses, wallets and luggage are divine - every time I visit I don't want to leave! I will gladly come here again and again - thank you for such a lovely store.

I’ve been in this store on multiple occasions. Not ONE time have I ever been greeted or acknowledged by any customer service person. On one occasion, I approached the only person working there (who I later found out was the Store Manager) to inquire about a specific piece of luggage. She informed me that it was not in stock. (Without looking) I asked her if she could order it or see if it was at another store in ATL, she was offended that I wanted her to actually do her job. She told me her systems were down and couldn’t look anything up. I asked for her card.
I let the incident go, and have since visited the Avalon store a couple more times with again no acknowledgement. (with other people being greeted or approached arriving after me) I can only chalk it up to being a person of mixed heritage who maybe doesn’t fit the “Tumi” customer profile. I’m a business traveler who likes good luggage. So I order my Tumi luggage online. Great luggage. Terrible customer service at the Avalon Store.

Purchased a bag and toke it bag exchange it the same day. The sales person told me it was used and she couldn't take it back. The bag had a some dust on it. That I wiped off. Literally same day. Don't go to this store.
