They get zero stars. On November 1, 2024, I went to the location in Lombard, Illinois wanting to purchase 19" rims for my car. They didn't have them in stock, they only had 20". I was talked into buying the 20" rims as they assured me that they would fit my car even though they are 2" larger than the original equipment. I spent $2,450 and the car looked AWESOME.

Less than a month later, the front tire wasn't holding air so I called them up and they told me to bring the car in. I thought I had a nail in the tire but once there, they told me my rim was cracked and gave me the number to who they recommend to fix it. I became upset because of the way I was treated by Daniel and the other guy working up front. They were HORRIBLE, said I was lying, and accused me of hitting a pothole and putting fix a flat in the tire.
After leaving a review about our experience, I received a call from the owner. He offered to replace the rim and I would pay half the cost and take the review down. He was going to call the rim manufacturer and call me back with a price. It was really cold outside with temperatures in the teens and I was having to put air in the tire daily.
It is February 10, about 3 months later and I am still waiting for the owner to call back. I ended up having to pay to have it repaired by a company that I found on my own who confirmed that there was no fix-a-flat in the tire and that the rim was indeed damaged. I believe that I was sold a damaged rim and once the temperatures dropped outside, it started losing air.
The company that did the repair rolled out the rim and tire to the waiting area and peeled the tire back and showed me that there was nothing put inside the tire and the rim was definitely damaged. See photo.
I could have gotten rims and tires from Discount Tire like I have done in the past and received much better service and a warranty. Before you buy anything here just know that no matter what they tell you in the store “ALL SALES ARE FINAL NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGE” is printed on your receipt and they have no problem throwing that back in your face just like they did to me. Be very cautious.

3 out of the 4 stock chrome wheels on my ‘11 Escalade ESV were leaking air due to rust. I checked the dealer website looking for replacements, but their offerings were boring. I wanted something that looked nicer. After doing a lot of online research & hitting many dead-ends, I found wheels that would be perfect for my vehicle. I had heard good things from someone I trust about the service at Rimtyme in Lombard. This was a major purchase for me, so I wanted to make sure the shop I chose treated both me & my vehicle well. I had some curb rash on one of my rims on my Tesla Model Y, and I took my car to another place initially. The other place did a poor job and got paint on my tire and center hub, and the curb rash continued to be noticeable. I called RimTyme and they were able to get me in first thing the next morning. After 15 minutes they had the rim looking like new. The curb rash is unnoticeable, and they were friendly, professional, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend RimTyme to anyone who needs work done on their rims. Thanks RimTyme!

The guys here are always 100%, I have never had a bad experience using this business for the last 3 yrs.
Just got my tpms sensors replaced and not only did they get the job done in a timely manor, When i got home i checked all my lugnuts to be sure they where torqued down properly, not 1 was out of spec. Thank you for the A1 service.
