I highly recommend Phillips Pro Cycle if you are considering buying a used motorcycle!
I purchased an 04 Suzuki GSX-R1000. Rode it across the street to top off the gas tank before I rode it back to Ohio 426 miles.
The bike wouldn’t start and was diagnosed with a bad stator “that’s the alternator for you 4 wheel cage people” the staff and owner were totally there for me and when I say they stand behind the product they sell, I mean it.
Was offered several above and beyond solutions and the one I chose still blows me away when I think about it.
1. They are going to replace the stator at no cost to me, (Very reasonable), but the above and beyond part now,
2. They will ship it and deliver it to my home for free!
The owner called me directly to apologize and said he will maintain contact with me until this situation is resolved.
This 54 year old retired veteran believes him 100 percent.
I like small businesses in general, when I absolutely love them, I will continue to ride or drive 426 miles to visit and spend my retirement money with no regrets.
PS I drive 1850miles to visit my tattoo artist to get new ink, if that tells you how I feel about loyalty and love for a small business that handles business like a boss.

This review is on their repair shop. Absolutely fantastic. They put on a new headlight setup and handlebars for my Kawasaki Vulcan S. They got it done in less than a week and adjusted to exactly where I wanted the bars to be. Great shop. I will definitely be a returning customer and will direct people to them for mods on their bikes.

Fantastic place for any work on your motorcycle.
I came here for new tires and I wanted a definite upgrade from my stock tires and Eli the parts and service manager suggested Metzler tire but had to be ordered. The tires came in the next day. I came in and was installed and balanced in in an hour. They ride perfect and the balance was perfect.i wish I would remember the mechanic name but he did a fantastic job. Highly recommend coming here for any work needed.plus great price also. I guess that’s why they been around for so many years.Im definitely going to be a loyal customer here.they are definitely highly knowledgeable ,professional and friendly

GREAT EXPERIENCE--PERSONAL ATTENTION!
I stopped in at Phillips Pro Cycle on my way to Florida to check out their ONE WHEEL selection--as I was thinking about getting one before I left on vacation, but I couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on a GT before leaving. I live in N Wisconsin. After talking with the guys there and seeing what I wanted right there in stock--it was an easy transaction. They all were very helpful and personable. Even helped me out with a loose fender on my cargo trailer as I was leaving. Not only was the process easy and smooth, I never felt any pressure from anyone. Customer service was very high--which is what sets businesses apart in today's economy. But I also feel like I got a great price on my GT. I put a lot of miles on over the next ten days in FL and am very glad I got it--no regets-- also very glad I stopped in at Phillips in Carbondale! If I ever am looking for a bike, it would be worth the 11 hour drive to get a bike from someone you can trust. Thanks Guys!

The worst thing I ever hate to do is give a small business especially one that has been here many years. A bad review. But I bought an older trike that was in good shape except for some break issues and a tank issue. But the body issue was perfect. It had been stored under a blanket. It is really a nice looking trike. Had my daughter take it last September since I bought it for her. We just went to pick it up yesterday. Sometimes projects are taken on that are too big and cannot be handled because of lack of experience and lack of years of working on motors etc. But I was told the trike was rode down the road and it didn't run the way the guy wanted it to, The question is if it was rode down the road how come when I picked it up and still when I get it home you can't even turn the thing over. Then, I look and the housing up front is completely busted and broke. All I get is oh I think it might have been like that, absolutely not. There are photos of this bike. Like I said it was kept under a blanket. It was taken very good care of it. It just set for a little too long. But now the thing doesn't run. You've already tore it up and broke stuff and it's put back together like a 2-year-old did it blindfolded. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about this. It's far from over. I understand when stuff sets for too long the rings can dry out. Hoses can crack. You know things happen. But if you don't know what you're doing and somebody is called you day in and day out requesting for an update and has somebody else willing to work on this? That actually knows what they're doing as a business. You should have returned this phone call. Had us come pick it up and saved all the issues. Now what I got back is in worst shape than when I brought it in. Trust me this ain't over yet.

Absolutely fantastic shop! Eli and the rest of the team at Phillips Pro Cycle hit a home run with me. I came in to get a tire mounted and balanced and I got a flat in the other tire.. without missing a beat they were able to get me in and out with another tire. So two tires mounted and balanced in an hour. Gave me a good deal on a Michelin tire and I was back to riding in no time. I definitely found my new shop for my motorcycle needs. Thanks Eli, and SEMPER FI!
