Absolute terrible place to buy ANYTHING! Bought two commercial mowers from them and absolutely terrible customer service. Will tell you anything to get your money however they don’t stand behind what they sell you. Will completely blow you off and refuse to do any warranty work or do anything for you. Again terrible experience and absolutely terrible people.

I bought a lawnmower for my son. They charged me twice for it ($4350 + $4350). I have called them and visited them in person, trying to get my refund on the credit card they used. It has been over a month, and every time they said they refunded my money, or they would call me back if there were issues with that, neither happened. I have been paying high interest on my credit card waiting for this refund they owe me, and it has tied my funds up for other things my family needs. I don't know what their issue is, but I am going to file a BBB report on them and put a dispute on my credit card if they don't take care of this by July 5th 2023, as it has already been a month of this nonsense. They told me it is a glitch and has happened to other people....fine. Just return my $4350 you owe me! I will never shop here again. I bought the mower at the Hillsboro location, but they have been calling the Vandalia location to correct the error, so I wouldn't set foot in either place. I didn't want to post this, but they forced me to by holding my money hostage and not returning my calls like they say they will. I have been more patient than they deserved. I hope they have an answer for me on this review and I hope they don't lie about this situation, or I will go through with the BBB complaint, refund or not.

I’ve had a few items repaired including chain saws and a mower. Purchased a mower as well. I’ve been satisfied with my experiences. Seems obvious many of the 1-star ratings were intended for other similarly-named businesses,
Some selling products not even sold by this independent Vandalia location.

Of course they sell online. ZoomInfo shows them as the holders of hydrodrives . com along with 3 others.
Checked online prices for 3 days, their web prices for 2 pumps didn't change. I place an order for the 2 pumps, I get an email saying the items have a long lead time so they cancelled my order and refunded the money. I don't care about the lead time so I call to get the order reinstated but I also noticed that the price of the pumps went up about $200 each. I was told they can not reinstate and that I have to re-place the order. When asked about the price increase the girl on the phone starts wigging out, "This is just a call center, I get paid $12/hr....." That's when I knew what I was dealing with and I lost it. So, this is the way they do business. The web price was too low so they cancelled my order and come at you with bravado.

0 stars would be better never would want to put anyone else through what I have been through with them. Ordered an $800+ part It did not fit THEY provided an RMA after telling them it did not fit. I paid for shipping, they claimed it was covered in oil though the part would not even fit to even get oil on it. (no pictures of the oil covered part were provided). Okay no refund for the part I will take it back and sell it on eBay since I PAID for it with no refund it is still my property! In the picture provided they said they would even send it back. I asked for it back. They told me no they DESTROYED it! Why would you dispose of a new part that I own! There is no way they would just throw out a new part they took it back and resold it. Now they took my $800+ and my part that I PAID FOR. Never do business with these thieves.

Very disappointed in my experience with Outdoor Power Sales. I find out after week the part I ordered was back ordered. No one called to advise us of this. And to add insult to injury I received a bill on that day for the $10 part I still do not have. This is poor customer service. It would be a lot better if they offered a loaner for the mower instead of just ignoring me. Customer Service can make or break your business.

This place is incredible in some kind of way. Don't ever expect this place to answer their phones. I bought a mower from them about a month ago and had carb issues right off the bat. Stuff happens so I am not blaming this place for the issue. The issue is I have been calling them for about a month 3 times a week trying to get into contact with somebody to help. Terrible and I mean awful customer service. I have never left a review for anything in my entire life so the fact that I wasted my own time to warn others is your sign. LOOK FOR SOMEONE ELSE.

We gave them 5 stars before when we walked in and was greeted by Noah but since they have moved and have a lady sitting out front with plastic wrap all around her area, she can't or JUST WON'T SAY HELLO OR CAN I HELP YOU WITH ANYTHING! Not until you get to the back desk if you're familiar with the store layout do you find Noah who can help you with anything you need. It's still a great place to purchase sthil chains for all your saws.
