Honestly extremely disappointed with the quality of the parts I ordered. You get what you pay for, but if you are on the east coast beware, they charge you an arm and a leg for shipping only to receive subpar quality. Air damn came in scratched, scuffed, and chipped. The gasket for the header/intake manifold was basically paper and did not fit my make or model despite imputing my year and head model. Unless you are going in person, I’d probably recommend buying from a z store that is a bit more representative in their product quality. Worst part is you probably won’t hear back from customers service. Overall not the best experience

Completely and totally dissatisfied with the Z store. My shop specializes in the cars that they exclusively supply parts for. But I avoid them. Despite that I ordered a set of koni shocks. I called in the order and was told they were on the shelf in stock. After a week, I called to get an update because they should have arrived by then. I was told they were missing my billing address. Frustrating because when I gave the salesman my card info, he interrupted me before I could spit out my billing zip code and said “don’t worry about the zip code, our system is so old it doesn’t need it” imagine my surprise when that’s what help up the order for a week. I made a fuss and was told they’d be shipped immediately. 5 days later I finally got emailed a tracking number. Still waiting as I write this review. Their website looks like they made it in 2002 and haven’t spent a dime on infrastructure since. Disappointing experience for a commercial customer. Looks like the wait will end up being 25 days for an “in stock, on the shelf” part that’s a 3hr drive away. Lesson learned.

These people have terrible customer service. I bought parts from The Z Store because they were the cheapest. Well, I got what I paid for. Substandard parts and service. I will never buy anything from these people again. And will warn all my friends nearby and online to avoid The Z Store. I got the distinct impression that they just wanted me to go away.
I recently purchased $800 worth of parts from The Z Store. Bumpers, brackets, and a bre spoiler to finish my 260Z build. Test fits of the bumpers were fine. The brackets needed some mods but nothing serious. The BRE spoiler was a different story. Its curve didn’t follow the contour of my rear hatch. There were about 0.2” gaps on both ends of the rear hatch (not the spoiler overhang!). I sent pictures to The Z Store and asked if this was normal. They had no idea why this could happen. I tried a second test fit thinking I could just add some more fiberglass to the underside to adjust the contour but then I noticed the cutout for the hatch button was off center. I double checked the positioning and verified the spoiler was in the right place. The button appeared to be about 0.25” off center! I took the spoiler to my work bench and measured from each end and took pictures of the measurements and the index points to verify the offset and sent them to The Z Store. They didn’t respond to my emails which was frustrating. At this point I called them and told them that I just wanted to return it and get a refund. Most places I have dealt with give you an RMA# for return (they pay shipping). The Z Store just gave me an RA# ( I had to pay shipping)! I expected to be reimbursed for the $98 for shipping but was told that they had to do a “Quality Check” to verify the problems before a refund of the shipping costs. This made me a bit suspicious. When they finally got back to me they said they couldn’t find any problem with the spoiler. They sent pictures back of the “Quality Check”. All they did was set the spoiler on someone’s car and take pictures. Their pictures showed slight gaps at the same points I had photographed. They also showed the cutout for the hatch button still off center. Their explanation was that since no one else had complained about this it wasn’t a problem.

Sold me a faulty alternator, and then refused to refund or help me in any way. I have spent thousands of dollars at this store, and expected the customer service to be a bit more helpful. Getting all of my parts elsewhere from now on.

Been a commercial customer for over 30 years. Last order I made all parts in stock by their salesman. I always check. After a week I cal and oh don’t know what happened. You order was canceled and then resubmitted. Cancelled order and just ordered what I needed. I ordered it second day air. Told no problem on Thursday. Finall got an email 2 days later that it had been shipped today and to expect it bet wendsday. Piss poor customer service no call on original delay or even this one and can’t get an answer until Tuesday now. But obviously they don’t care about their customers. Even the person I talked to about my original order just said don’t know why and do you just want to wait for parts like 2 more weeks.

I just had to go out of my way to commend the zstores amazing customer service. Dave or David was great at helping me with an issue, and having it resolved in minutes. This is one of the few automotive parts companies that I have had great experience with and will continue to recommend them to others.
