Honest and fair! Took my car in for an alleged oil leak pointed out to me by the dealership (who indicated this was an "urgent" repair).

I am so glad that I got a second opinion from the team at McCormick Auto Care. They investigated the issue and couldn't replicate it. At most it was a slow seepage of oil. They even invited me back in a couple weeks to see if anything changes, and told me what to look out for. Will be taking my car here for future needs and reccomending to others!

A+ service from friendly and knowledgeable staff. I'm visiting from 1k miles out of state when suddenly a terrible noise began and I chose to stop by McCormick Auto based on Google reviews. Brian thought he knew what the issue was just based on my description and, even though it was a busy day, just a few minutes later my car was fixed. It felt like my safety was a top priority and that I was treated with as much care as a family member would be rather than a first time client. I have some additional work that needs to be done and I will absolutely be trusting McCormick Auto to handle it.

Hello. I am
New in the area and was given a car from a friend in New York . It’s an old Buick . Anyway I know nothing about cars so I asked my neighbor in Hyde Park where
I should go and he recommended this place. I have been there 2x once for an oil change and another time to check fluids . They are such nice, hardworking and honest people who really go out of their way to take care of their customers. I am so thankful and happy to have found them because they are great. Jeff initially checked the car and fluids .
He is a nice and competent mechanic. I’m not sure who did my oil change because the guy behind the desk was nice enough to squeeze me in at the last minute
All I can say is it takes me 45 minutes to drive there but there’s no other place that I would go for any car for As long as I live in Illinois, thank you you are great

Brian was and is the best! He was so helpful , knowledgeable and honest with me about my car! He’s very nice as well! I was going through it, i thought i was going to have to wait until Monday but he worked his magic and was able to fix it today. Forever thankful 😭🙌🏽! It’s affordable as well. Honestly, If i went to ford, i would have had to come out of pocket hundreds of dollars and both kidneys. If you haven’t already, please go here and ask for Brian! He will get you right !!
