I was in a pinch and needed 2 40’ ladders to finish a job in Kalamazoo Michigan and Joe sold me the ladders but I didn’t have the correct vehicle and I asked him if he can have them placed outside for the following day since today was Friday and they are closed tomorrow. Joe said look I wouldn’t recommend it but I will come in at 9am for you so you can grab the ladders. This was incredible customer service and He helped me out a bunch. I will always come here for all of our Exterior products. Service out of this world!!!!

I very rarely write reviews, and when I do it's because of outstanding service. However, this interaction was so poor that I can't help but review the company. Absolutely terrible transaction. Product was delivered to wrong location and left in wet bushes & dirt by back gate with no protective packaging (it's all scuffed up and looks like it's used and was left at an angle so the rails weren't aligned, leaving stress on the hinges) rather than on covered front porch. Company admitted they were supposed to call with delivery notification prior to delivery, but none was given (which probably would have helped correct the very problematic wrong delivery location issue) and when it was delivered (two days later than quoted upon purchase), they never came to the door to let me know. I finally found the invoice in the mailbox. When I called to see what we could do about fixing the delivery issue, the representative refused to let me finish a sentence. He heard wrong location and started spouting out all sorts of excuses, almost all of which he had to go back and correct himself on because he was just throwing things out there rather than waiting for facts. I tried to give the company an out by asking if they used a third party delivery and he got upset and started going off on how that would cost them too much money. I was only trying to confirm who was responsible for the condition in which it was delivered. When I tried to explain the condition I found it in, he just started talking over me and kept saying they wouldn't have the driver come take it to the right spot because it was too far. The one decent part of the interaction was getting reimbursed for the shipping, but for a high ticket item and his rudeness, it does little to help the situation. Having worked for so long in customer service, I understand that being calm and kind with the representative goes a lot farther than freaking out on them, so that's how I approached it. Maybe if I had raised my voice like he did and started throwing some explicit words out there, he would have stopped talking over me long enough to figure out a more acceptable solution since the distribution center is actually located only about an hour away rather than the 5 hours he kept insisting on. Even if it was, it was their, very big, mistake and they should have remedied it rather than assuming he knew anything about our circumstances and I could just easily get someone with a construction vehicle to drive it 30 minutes away. There's a reason it wasn't supposed to be delivered where they dropped it; if I had ANY way of getting it to the correct location, I would have run down to the local hardware store and purchased the same item, that's actually in new condition, on the same day and spent the same amount of money. Yes, this is a long rant, but every aspect of the transaction and interaction was poorly executed by this company. Make your purchase from them or wherever you want, but if you do use them, be prepared that you may receive your order damaged, exposed, late and at the wrong address if you have a shipping address that's different from your billing address. If the company reads this, please take note that customer service can go a long way. Good customer service could have helped me overlook the condition of the delivery and taken the time to come up with a viable solution. Horrible, rude customer service entices someone who never writes reviews to start writing.
