PESIMO- ESTAFADORES.
Fui a este local para hacerle mis frenos a mi carro. Tan solo pasado 1 mes empece a escuchar un ruido donde parecía desgaste o disco cosa que no era normal. Llamé por teléfono y me atendió el señor IVAN (MANAGER según él) de una forma atropellada sin dejarme hablar diciendo que no me podía escuchar ( que no tenía tiempo) y si mi carro tenia una falla que hiciera una cita. QUE EL (SEÑOR IVAN) no podía hacer nada por teléfono y que esto era perder el tiempo. Le dije que hablaría con el gerente y me dijo que el era el gerente. Que hiciera mi cita o fuera a las 2000 tiendas que tenia Fireston pero que haría más nada. Le indique que es un falta de respeto y poco profesional para ser un MANAGER y le digo a todo el mundo que se piensen en ir a este local. Yo probablemente perdí mi dinero y aparte este señor IVAN me viene con este pésimo trato donde estoy seguro que la alta Gerencia o dueños de la Firestone no están al tanto pero gracias a dios están las grabaciones de las llamadas. Señores repito no vayan a un lugar como este. Ya vi que con el mismo señor han habido varios clientes que se han quejado y la situación es pésima por que me siento robado totalmente. Ahora tendré que ir a otro taller para solventar esta situación. FIRESTONE ANALIZA A TUS EMPLEADOS. BUEN DIA .

Firestone alignment:

Don't go there if you want to be safe in your car.

That was the worst car service in my life.

I scheduled my appointment in advance for an alignment. When I got there, I had to wait for four hours so they could take my car in.

After two days, I had to go back because I almost got into a car accident on the highway. The camber adjusting bolt was gone, the alignment toe arm was hanging, and a strange sound was coming from the wheel.

I called Firestone, and they said I could go to any location if it was an emergency. When I got to another location, they said they wouldn't do anything without a reservation. Finally, when I got to Firestone, the mechanic said the car was still drivable. I think they don't know what they're doing.

Because I barely got there with all my wheels intact.

Later, they ordered parts from the dealer and supposedly fixed it. I don't feel that the alignment is good, and I don't feel safe in my car.

I visited Firestone in Skokie to get a tire with a nail in it repaired -- the tire was already removed from the car. I left the tire with them and they patched in within 3 hours (about what they told me to expect). I asked them if they would install the tire back on the car when they were finished - they said no problem. It took over an hour (with me sitting in their waiting room) to put a single tire on the car.

Overall I'd give them a 4 out of 10 --- not dreadful and not great --- if you had a choice of going someplace else, I would probably do that

I have patronized this Firestone for over a decade. I used always get good service here. Something has definitely changed. I found the advisor, friendly but incompetent. And very hard to understand. They over torqued all of the lug nuts on my wheels. And they used a pneumatic drill to apply the wheel locks and ruined them. It is common knowledge that you don’t use a pneumatic drill for wheel locks. And it is clearly marked on the packaging to not use pneumatic drills. It just doesn’t seem like they know what they’re doing. They ruined a set of factory wheel locks. I had to replace them. I would definitely not go back.

With the winter weather, my tire pressure had been low for some time, so I called to see if Firestone could fill them up for me. The man I spoke with on the phone said absolutely, and when I asked how much it would cost, he said he would do it for free! When I arrived, Josh filled up my tires, and I was on my merry way. I've had bad experiences at service centers, so I wasn't expecting much from a chain, but everyone (especially Josh) was super kind and helpful...so much so that I double-checked that they didn't want to charge me for the service, and they assured me it was okay.
