I’d give them 10 stars if it was possible!!! Went in with a BRAND NEW set of tires for my Honda Ruckus that I bought on the internet. They mounted and installed them in just about an hour and cleaned and adjusted my brakes. Very nice people to work with and more than reasonably priced!!!

First time being here, main mechanic is awesome. Love his vibes. Whole place honestly feels amazing. They break my mirror, i buy new ones and they install them for free. Bring it back in later due to another issue. The bikes not charging the battery, they fix it. I come in to pay, they say they are charging me for headlights since they are out as well, i tell them they were working when dropped off as i always do a walk around before i ride. They still make me pay. I open up my bike when i get home because i hear something rattling around. They broke my horn mount and just threw it under some wires. So between breaking my mirror, popping my headlights, and then breaking my horn mount and not telling me. I think three stars was “fair” im going down to one star now.

To start off, my time at this shop was an amazing one. The main mechanic is an extremely understanding and experienced mechanic who works on a wide variety of bikes and scooters. The prices are fair for the work they do and while they do get allot of business they still make it a priority to get your bike back to you better than it came in, asap. That being said, the only complaint I had was the accidental over tightening and breakage of a rear view mirror on my bike. The other mirror was already broken so it was a good opportunity for me to change both of them at least, which he installed free of charge after I ordered new ones. Not too big of a deal tbh, things happen.

Wasted a large sum of money here; City Scooters had my motorbike for an entire summer & could not get it to run. I went several times when they said it was ready, only to discover it was not ready to drive. Eventually I took it back as-is. In one day I got it running after they admitted they didn't know why it couldn't idle.

Getting your M license is a pain. I took an MSF class but they no longer offer waivers. I want to follow the law and not ride my motorcycle alone on a permit to the DMV to take the test. Finding a friend to take time off work is a pain. And if you make a mistake on a slow speed turn and fail the test you wasted a bunch of time.

City Scooters offers a fantastic service where you rent a 151 cc scooter that’s just enough to qualify for the M license road test. Make an appointment at the Elston DMV online (later in the day is better), then you go there about or two before the test and practice the DMV course (cone weave, emergency stop, etc.) on the scooter in the alley behind the shop. Carlos explained all the exercises and gave feedback. Then call them you’re at the DMV and they drive the scooter over and you take the test.

I passed on the first attempt! Carlos, Henry, and Marty were all fantastic and helped take the pain out of a painful process.

Brought my scooter in to get repaired but it was beyond saving. Ended up trading it in for a new one which is pretty good. What makes this place 5 star worthy is the service manager, Marty. Marty really knows his stuff when it comes to scooters and motorcycles. Through the entire process Marty was readily available to assist whenever needed and went above and beyond in customer satisfaction. His enthusiasm and attitude made working with him a very pleasant experience.

They did an excellent job teaching me to ride in preparation for the dmv test and a lifelong of riding. Can’t recommend them enough, I tell anyone and everyone who will listen, if you ever need anything regarding 2 wheels (or sometimes more) they are the place to go. I went from failing the DMV test in record time to passing with zero errors in less than a day with them. Excellent people make this excellent business, keep up the great work 👍
