I've been to a lot of places to get my car worked on over the years. I have finally found my last one. Mike and his team are the most honest I have come across.
No overcharging and great, reliable service!
I got quotes from others along with Car X when I first started using them, and they were always the best price.
It's so refreshing to finally have a mechanic who is trustworthy!

I will preface this by saying I have a high performance variant of a car line that not all people know how to service properly and would advice people to get dealer service. I couldn't get to my preferred mechanic/shop so I used CarX for a full synthetic oil change as I simply needed to get that done. That said, my mechanic found the oil plug to be loose and leaking. My mechanic told me the wrong gasket was used. The oil had been previously changed by the dealership that specialized in my car. I called CarX and they told me that their records indicated that they didn't change the gasket and they didn't charge me for one. No mention of why it was loose and leaking oil. Another note worth mentioning is that they didn't check any other fluid levels like a Jiffy Lube does. Very disappointing given all the positive reviews I read before going to CarX. It cost me $35 to have it fixed by my mechanic as it turned out to be a partial oil change/refill to replace and fix it. My mechanic found this about 30 days after the CarX oil change.
UPDATE/REPLY: Thanks for your response. Just a suggestion, if your receipt contained a summary check off of the fluid levels check like a Jiffy Lube or Original Dealer Service invoice that would be helpful. The tech mentioned that they don't do certain fluid level checks due to the difficulty of checking (e.g. differential fluid). Other places check everything and show oil smears from brake, diff, trans, etc. fluids so the customer can see the state/discoloration of the fluids.

Car-X is great! My car tire was losing air, and Car-X fit me in same-day, found a nail in the tire and successfully patched it for a reasonable price. Mike at Car-X was very helpful and provided excellent customer service. I would definitely come back for future car service.

Oh my goodness, Mike at car X was a total lifesaver today. Flat tire put me in a major pinch, but Mike And his guys got me in right away, And 30 minutes later I was back on the road and back on schedule. Didn’t even cost me an arm and a leg…. Thanks for being awesome!
