Terrific store, great customer service. I had ordered a new Samsonite garment bag for my travel back to Germany with Macy's (on sale), which was cancelled twice. After an online search I found this charming family owned store, which is very well run.
I got the bag within hours, same great price as Macy's, with a lovely conversation with the staff. Folks, it doesn't get any better than that. Highly recommended, AAA+++

I came into the store looking for the lightest and largest carry on option. I was given a lot of information and shown a few options. I left to do my own research. I came back in with my luggage and had the best experience comparing weight, size and packable Liter capacity. It was such a positive, multi-day, no pressure experience. I will definitely return and send my friends and family here.

I was pleasantly surprised by the sales that were happening online as well as in the store (greater value). The sales representative was extremely accommodating.

I only spent around $200 for a travel backpack and small matching rolling suite case (Travel Pro), which fits in the overhead carryon baggage compartment. I'm glad I went to check out this store.

Lots of options. I went in looking for a backpack that was similar to what I previously had (Swiss gear backpack). They were very attentive to my specifications and provided me four different models for me to try out.

Every time a new customer came in, they were quickly greeted by the staff. In the end, I purchased a backpack for about $190 but with 20% discount (as that brand was having a sale). They shared that with me as I went to go buy it.

We bought a very large Travelpro suitcase on four wheels and a Victorinox backpack. They have a huge selection and the service was beyond excellent (we had called ahead and they had them waiting for us). Tom was superb. He gave us an excellent price. We couldn’t be happier with what we bought. Highly recommend Altman.

For Bounce/Luggage Storage: I STRONGLY DO NOT recommend you use this location. Why? Well if you need to get your luggage after 6pm…well the store is closed and cannot get it. I thought it closed at 9pm and I get there at 7pm to my disappointment that I won’t have my luggage/stuff until the next day…

The first red flag was the way the clerk said to the Bouncer that “a young woman is bothering us for you”. I am unsure if he was joking or annoyed that I came in politely to ask for the Bounce employee since it was my first time using this service…I recommend going through the hassle of finding another Bounce location, like the one nearest to Grand Central, which is located in a 24hr deli, making it accessible all day and all night.
