I came in to get an international driving permit for my husband. The service was fast, however, the person who took care of us was an old white lady with glasses who gave us attitude for most of the process. It made us feel very uncomfortable especially after seeing her interact with two white customers in a friendly manner.

Stopped by last minute (a day before I was due to travel) to get an IDP. I already had the form filled out and carried photos with me to save time. Mary Ann was very helpful and patient as I fixed some issues in the application form. Overall a pretty smooth process and I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely recommend stopping by on a weekday, I had absolutely nobody else waiting in line when I arrived.

I haven't been here for car repairs, but I came to get my international driver's license before an upcoming trip. They were super helpful and I was even able to purchase travel insurance with them at a great rate! The staff was friendly and helpful and the process was over pretty quickly. I highly recommend traveler insurance for any international trip! AAAs is competitive with others in the market.

I brought my car to the shop on the night of March 6, and it stayed overnight. We picked it up on Saturday, March 8, at 1 PM, with the staff assuring me there would be no oil leaks. I was charged $2,900 for the service.

However, I later noticed that the coolant fluid hadn’t been flushed, as they had used the old fluid. I returned to the shop, and they flushed the system. Afterward, I saw oil drops on the ground. I called the shop on Tuesday, and they advised me to schedule an appointment for Thursday.

On Thursday morning, they checked for oil leaks and issued me an additional bill for $1,200 to address other leaking parts. That afternoon, I noticed coolant fluid draining onto the ground. I immediately contacted my insurance for towing service.

My concerns with this shop are:
1. Incomplete Diagnostics: Why wasn’t the issue detected during the initial diagnostic? I paid a significant amount, yet the oil leak problem remained unresolved, leading to additional labor costs.
2. Lack of Thorough Inspection: Did the mechanic thoroughly check the car before assuring me there were no leaks?
3. Poor Workmanship and Customer Service: Given the inconvenience caused by the poor work, was any compensation or gesture of goodwill offered to address the trouble it caused?

AAA all around sucks for everything: auto insurance, zero customer service, and higher fees than a regular auto shop. My oil change quote was higher than going to the dealership.

The auto insurance agent refused to answer questions about quotes, lied about legal coverages needed, added on and snuck on coverages we repeatedly told him we did not want, and continually changed prices. Unethical, slimey, unprofessional and deceitful.

There is no management running this location so it's a free-for-all with rude employees. Avoid avoid avoid!

I've gone to this location in the past and had pretty good experiences. This time I around I sat around for 2 hours and when I asked how much longer I was told at least another hour. So in total it would have been 3 hours of my life waiting for an oil change when I had an appointment. I just don't understand. I'll never get that time back. Another woman was there before me and was also still waiting to be seen and I told them to give me my keys and I went somewhere else. I told the woman good luck. I'm sure she's still there

I brought my 2013 Toyota Corolla in due to a rattle/knock that was getting more pronounced on the front driver side. Matt the AAA representative informed me that the mechanic was unable to hear the ratting and knocking while test driving nor able to see what was going on when the car was on the rack....

Matt went above and beyond.... Instead of telling me "we can't find the noise so here's your car.. good luck with that.." He test drove the car himself AND was able to hear the problem!!

It was the left control arm.... The right control arm was replaced by AAA in November 2024.

He NOT only replaced the left C-arm but replaced both of them so I can have them both covered by the warranty for the same time period... MATT IS A SUPER GENIUS!! Matt is also a great employee as well.. Kind and courteous through the repair process... I am so very pleased and thankful for his assistance..

Mat and all the staff at AAA Skokie are excellent at getting my car repaired right. I had a huge amount of work done. Skilled mechanics got it all done.
