This Tumi store has it all! I found some luggage here that I’ve not seen at other stores. So much so that I ended up purchasing a new backpack and I absolutely love it.

The staff member (Sara 3/9/24) was truly amazing. She did a great job showing me luggage, features, and accessories. Without her there, I guarantee I would not have spent $700 on a new backpack.

I called to ask if they had a part in stock, and the manager kept telling me she needed to close the store early because she was going on vacation. I asked if she could see if the store had the part and mentioned I could come in later in the week. She said not to bother because she was the only employee who knew how to make repairs.

So let’s unpack this:
- Why doesn’t the store manager train her employees to make minor repairs (swapping out the handle)?
- Why would a store manager encourage a customer to not bother coming into a store?
- Why couldn’t she take 3 minutes to see if they had a part in stock?

To her credit, she did ultimately agree to check and let another store know.

I know where I won’t be buying my next Tumi bag.

I have visited this Tumi location several times and have purchased an Alpha Bravo Continental carry-on, Dynamic backpack, and Weekender duffel. I love these bags but I enjoy the Tumi service even more. The staff is super helpful and patient as I decide which bags to purchase, especially as my young boys run around the store pushing the rollers. Jennifer has helped me multiple times, and she always is patient and kind. I highly recommend Tumi luggage and this location. Thank you!

I simply wanted to take the time to THANK one of your repair specialists for the great service I received during a trip to Atlanta.

The repair specialist was Brooke at Perimeter Mall in Atlanta, GA. When my flight landed in Atlanta and I picked up my luggage, I noticed that one of the wheels were missing. UGH… Once I got to my hotel, I called Tumi at Perimeter Mall and spoke to Brooke. She asked me to come in the next day and when I did, she fixed my wheel and even cleaned the exterior shell of my luggage, and I was on my way.

It’s customer service like Brooke’s that makes Tumi worth their price. I am a customer for life.

This is a great location with very helpful staff. Their selection is varied and high quality. They even handle complimentary baggage repairs in house and quickly! Brooke was very kind, responsive and was able to fix my bag quickly. I would go back to this place for my travel luggage needs.

Outstanding customer service!! I had a problem with a bag and Brooke got the part to the store and Jennifer and another employee fixed it so I was able to use it on my flight 36 hours later. Tumi is great in general, and the Avalon store was super, but Brooke was the only person at the 5 stores I called who was able to solve the problem completely. Congratulations

Poor Customer Support

I've purchased many Tumi products and continue to question if I should continue to do so. I recently ordered a Tegra piece of luggage online. It was larger than I anticipated, however I was looking to replace and older short trip V3 piece. I wanted something similar, but more durable. When it arrived, I unfortunately realized it was the same size as the Alpha 2 I already have. I understand I did a "custom" accent kit, but I was hoping to exchange this for a smaller/lighter piece. Tumi doesn't like to return what they call "custom", even though it's only a patch held on by tape which they can easily replace. In some cases, Tumi has been very helpful in these situations, and since we are loyal customers, I was hoping they would work with me. I was willing to keep the accent kit if they would just help me with the exchange of the luggage. Instead, the woman was very condescending and lacked any concern. If she didn't give me a "too bad for you" type attitude I would not be writing this review. It's sad you spend so much on a brand and the customer service/support can be less than desirable. Her only concern was that I already purchased something and didn't want to help unless I a new buyer. Disappointing. I am hoping I can at least receive the 20% discount since I purchased this just days before the sale started, but I am not getting my hopes up.
